About The Walk
You are invited to be part of a unique event in 2008. Australian history will be made with a truly challenging feat full of rewards for all involved.
Veteran bush-walker and secondary school teacher Michael Mitchell will complete a historic bush walk.
He will start at Cape York QLD on 5th May 2008, traversing three states and finishing at Wilsons Promontory VIC on 27th June 2009. Click here to find out more...

 As a schoolteacher at Catholic Regional College North Keilor, Michael has the joy of seeing the passion of children and teenagers, as they are involved in activities.
 He could not resist the idea to involve the schools in some way in the walk.

We Invite Individuals, Bush Walking Clubs And Other Groups To Join Michael on the Walk. With nearly 60 sections and an ideal group of 8 walkers on the track at any one time, there is the potential for up to 350 different individuals to take part in the walking party.
Give us a call and we will talk you through the walk legs and any questions you many have.
We will be by your side all the way to your starting line, through to the finish line of your walk leg/s

 Michael is raising $1M to 'support The Cancer Council's lifesaving cancer research, and education programs to help prevent cancers and detect them at an early stage, and support services for Australians in great need.
