www.priorityone.net.au PriorityOne is project managing the event.  We have the pleasure of bringing it together for Michael and supporting him during the 13 months with a range of logistical activities.  We also actively seek volunteers for a range of activities. so if you are interested give Lisa Burnett a call on 0425 710 558.     www.cancer.org.au The main beneficiary, The Cancer Council is providing their people to help raise awareness. www.toll.com.au Toll provided trucks and a team of people.  They transported the car and trailer safely to Cairns, met by the support crew.   Recently they also shipped more equipment free of charge.  Thank you. P.I. Plus Pty Ltd have provided us with a SPOT GPS Emergency Tracker system.  This enables us to touch base with Michael daily.    At the touch of a button the Australian HQ Search and Rescue are alerted and a team is deployed to Michael and/or the support team.     www.telstra.com.au/mobile/    networks/satellite.cfm     www.telstat.com.au Telstra have provided two satellite phones. This enables Michael and the team to call in to the HQ daily where we can keep track off them.    The support crew and Michael switch on their phones between 7 – 8 pm each day as the phones operate on AA batteries which are recharged at this time for long term use.  Telstra are also covering all calls and text messages made from both of the Telstra Mobile Satellite phones.  www.signwave.com.au  Signwave in South Melbourne did a fabulous job branding Michaels car with all the sponsor logos and much more!

www.anz.com.au The ANZ are providing the opportunity for the public to donate at their branches direct to the walks bank accounts In addition where towns cross Michael's path the ANZ local branch will greet Michael with the support of the locals and hold an event to raise funds. www.virginblue.com.au Virgin Blue flew us to Cairns and Back. Thank you it was a great help by giving us fights and keeping the costs down. This is results in many pairs of inserts for Michael protecting his feet as he walks towards home and the $1M.  Thank you as this minimizes injury during the walk and enables Michael to maximise his walking time in comfort. They also connected us with Keen to get Michaels walking boots just right for the 13 months. www.omma.com.au Helen Vita, Managing Director, has given her time for marketing and media services for free.  She supports Michael in his quest to raise awareness and receive donations for The Cancer Council. Ian Martin from RV Powerstream provided the dual battery pack for the car, which is really important, because this is what the support crew use to recharge the phones, computer, etc.

As you can imagine we have a back plan to back up the back up plan when it comes to communications. For more information on how they did this visit their website www.keenfootwear.com.au Keen have kindly provided Michael with 5 pairs of walking boots especially made for his feet.  Chris, Michael's best friend is currently spending his spare time, stretching and preparing the remaining four sets of boots.  This is to minimize wearing in time on the walk when Michael receives them in his next supply delivery.  We expect each pair to survive 2 – 3 months based on the different bush walking terrains Michael will be encountering. www.hema.com.au Thank you for providing Michael with his electronic and some paper based maps for the trip. In addition, for all the solid advice you have provided to Michael and the support team over the last year.  Mr Greg Wade, Principal, Catholic Regional College North Keilor, has given Michael two years off school to support him to reach his aspirations and goals.  The school supports him 100% and are holding fund raising events and keeping track of him on the Google maps link via the website.
